Let's get together and do it again! Join us on Saturday, April 26th for some fun and games. Pack your favorite game and come on out. There will be plenty of other women veterans to join in. Thanks to those of you who provided this suggestion!
Please check back periodically for updates.
Bring your favorite game and round up some players. Or join in on someone else’s game. Time: All day.
You can groom, round pen, or ride. Or just pose with one for a photo. Time: Until 11 noon.
Please sign up at the registration desk.
Our mini-donks love attention. Feed them carrots and apples or brush them out. Both Momma and Baby Mocha enjoy hands on petting. Feel the love! Time: Until 12 noon.
The Hairy Faery, Julianne is coming. Stop by and add some sparkle to your hair. Time: 10am-2pm.
Fran from Acupuncture & Skin Rejuvenation will be providing chair massages. Time: 11:30 until 4.
Lorie is back and will be providing manicures. Yay, Lorie! Time: 12:30-4pm.
Please sign up at the registration desk.
We’ve been hard at work emptying wine bottles (hiccup). Craft your own wine bottle wind chime. Time: 1:15pm.
At your request, Greg from Drum for Change is back. Grab a drum and join the circle. Time: 2-3pm.
We’ll be providing hay rides in the afternoon. Pull up a hay bale and go for a ride in the woods. Time: 1-4pm.
Slow down and enjoy the day.
The women veterans were amazing! We even had Helen and her family drive down from the Richmond, Virginia area. Lorie and Michele did a great job with nails and fairy hair. Cliff with My House BBQ knocked it out of the park with the meats. Carol and crew offered some delicious salads and sides. Beating drums with Greg was fun. And Isabella from The Joel Fund wrapped up the event with a fantastic art class. As always, the volunteers worked hard to make it happen with their donations and service. A shout out to Beth Ann from UNCG Women Veterans Historical Project and Carolyn from the Military Women's Memorial for sharing. Thanks to everyone for making it a memorable day!
Congratulations to Jennifer for winning the 50:50. Congratulations to Elena for winning the stained glass American flag. Thank you to Casola Stained Glass Studio for the donation!
